Auwalu Muktari Bichi is an accomplished business leader and the Managing Director of Kano State Investment and Properties Limited (KSIP). With a career spanning more than 30 years, he has built a reputation for operational excellence and corporate governance.
Before joining KSIP, Muktari served as the Group Managing Director/CEO of Royal Exchange Plc, one of Nigeria's oldest and most diversified financial services groups. His leadership was instrumental in the company’s digital transformation and market expansion. He has also held executive roles within the banking sector and currently sits on the boards of several major financial institutions, including Royal Exchange Prudential Life and Royal Exchange Healthcare.
His focus at KSIP is to reposition Kano State as a primary hub for northern commerce by attracting high-impact investments and modernizing the state's asset portfolio. He holds a degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and is a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
